Caleb has started transitioning to the older side of the toddler community at school and he's slowly exploring the new material and work.
His current favourite work is the squeezing citrus fruit activity.
He loves putting the orange half into the press, turning the arm to press the juice out, and pouring the freshly squeezed orange juice into a little cup which he carefully brings to the snack table. Then, he sits down and drinks the juice that he squeezed.
I know he loves this activity so much because the first day we tried it out, Caleb went back to it at least three times.
There's nothing like a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice to start the day right.
Do you send Caleb to Montessori? You did that with Nathan right?? I know basically nothing at all about young children's schooling, but this juice thing sounds so brilliant! (And cute, let's be honest).
ReplyDeleteYes, both boys are in Montessori :) We like it a lot, and yes, it's cute seeing kids do "grown-up" things.
