I wasn't fiercely against them, but I didn't think they'd ever make their way into my home, onto the feet of my family.
Then, we got Crocs for Caleb and that's when I realized how great they are for little kids, especially living in a climate like we currently do.
Caleb can get them wet, they protect his feet and (the best part, in my opinion), he can put them on and take them off by himself, and they stay on his feet.
We recently discovered that Caleb's first pair was getting a little snug so we brought him to the store to buy a new pair. However, Caleb refused to give up his old shoes. When the lady tried to put the new ones on his feet, he said no and reached for his old shoes. I had no idea he had become so attached to them.
Eventually, I convinced him to try the bigger pair on and I think they must have felt better on his feet because after that, he didn't want to take the new ones off.

I love that these ones are neutral with a splash of colour. Perfect for the summer. Andrew pointed out that it even matches my iPhone case.
So cute, I am going to have to try these for Davis.
ReplyDeleteAren't kids funny how they get attached to things like that?
ReplyDeleteYou know how I feel about Crocs... but Caleb pulls them off SO adorably!!!
