The sun was shining and the boys played in the water for a little while as I soaked in a little bit of sun. Not actual
After playing in the water, the boys got changed and we headed back to the car for a nice, cool watermelon snack. We had the windows rolled down and music pumping through the stereo. It was awesome.
Then, we drove out to Bulimba for lunch. It's such a nice little town to walk through, so relaxed and fresh.
On the way home, we stopped by the school to see Nathan's artwork on display at the Art Fest. I'll post photos of this tomorrow.
I must have caught some sort of bug while we were out because I was feeling a little exhausted and sniffly the next day. I usually stay home when I'm sick to avoid spreading germs and avoid getting sicker, so yesterday I spent the entire day doing a quick spring clean of my scrapbooking supplies.
I think I've overcome my hoarding tendencies because I was ruthless as I sorted through my kits. If it's not my style - GONE. If it's something I never put on my layouts - GONE. If I have multiples of something - GONE. The simple act of tossing these things into a "to sell" box became invigorating, empowering even. It felt like I was throwing out a huge burden and now I feel lighter and freer. If someone would pay me to photograph, price and ship out stuff all day, I'd totally do it.
So now that I've gotten over selling my stuff, perhaps I can move onto selling things I make?
Oh how I wish I could be on a beach right now... hope you are feeling better!
