By the time this goes live, we'll be up in the air, on our way back to Brisbane.
sitting in bed waiting for the boys to come home from picking up my mom from work one last time.
wondering how two months passed us by so quickly.
wishing we could stay a little longer.
dreading our 13-hour stop-over. The flight's long enough as is. Can't we just get it all over with?
admiring the snowy sunset outside my window one last time.
counting down the hours until we leave for the airport.
trying to distract myself so this nervous energy doesn't take over my sanity.
thankful for the chance to reconnect with friends and family.
grateful that we managed to stay healthy during this flu season.
drinking one last Canada Dry and orange pekoe tea, but not at the same time.
smelling my dad's roast beef in the oven, it's making me so hungry.
crossing my fingers for a good flight back.
looking forward to the sunshine and warmer weather.
It feels like so long ago already. it was a good 8 weeks though :)
