Hand-Stitching

I've recently become a little obsessed with hand-stitching. It all started off with one of Amy Tangerine's stitched "Smile" tags that came with my Studio Calico kit. Then, I started seeing it everywhere and I really wanted to try it out.

So today, I finally had a chance to sit down and give it a go (there's a little bit of Aussie-speak for you!).

I ended up making a personalized, travel-themed, three-piece set for my sister. Don't want to spoil the surprise for her, but here's a sneak peak of the first piece in the making:
