Happy Mail in the Car

Picked up some more happy mail from the post office today on the way to picking up Nathan after school but I didn't want to wait until the boys went to bed tonight to open it, so I did it in the car.


And despite parking in the shade and having both my front windows down, the car was still a little uncomfortable to sit in. I even tried rolling up the windows and turning on the A/C but even that wasn't enough relief.

So I quickly packed it all up and grabbed Caleb from the back to go sit on a picnic table under the leafy trees. It's much cooler there, especially when the wind blows.

It's going to be a looooong summer.
