Purple Carpet

I can't get over how gorgeous it is when the jacarandas are in bloom.

I drive by a whole bunch of them every single day and I keep wanting to take a picture before all the flowers fall off, but it's a little hard to get a nice shot as I'm driving by (oh, and there's the safety factor).

So here's a shot I quickly snapped yesterday before we headed out for trick-or-treating.
