First Day Back

I took advantage of Nathan's first day back to school with a little experimenting in the kitchen. I managed to test out two new recipes today.

Salted caramel ice cream. I love salted caramel!


And meringue. With all the ice cream I've been making recently, we've had a lot of leftover egg whites, so we had meringue for dessert. And we never have dessert, so this was a big hit with the boys.


Caleb was my little taste tester for the day.


He loved his job; I could tell.
