Dining at Miss Chu's

I did an awful job of documenting our time in Sydney when we went down for New Year's Eve so I'm hoping this time around will be better.

Our first night in Sydney, we had dinner at Miss Chu. It was close enough to our hotel for us to walk there. We got a bit of exercise before and after the meal - not that we had any extra energy to burn, but stretching our legs and getting some fresh air felt good.

We're not big on fancy restaurants. Little hole-in-the-wall places are just fine by us and sometimes, they have the best food. The place seemed pretty busy with locals coming and going so we figured it would be alright.

Here's a sneak peek at their menu.

The food was tasty although everything seemed to have a bit of spiciness to it, including the pho which I got for the boys. Some dishes were spicier than others. The portions were about the same as typical Australian dishes - pretty small according to our North American standards but we were all satisfied by the end of the meal.

If you're ever in Sydney and don't mind eating on the sidewalk at a place with funky decorations, sitting on primary school-sized chairs, then check out Miss Chu.

Alternatively, you can call for takeaway!
