Skipping Stones

At Byron Bay, we spent a short while on the beach before continuing on our journey to Sydney. We wrote in the sand, searched for the perfect seashell, and my dad taught Nathan how to skip stones.

It's moments like this that makes me wish the grandparents lived closer.

Even when my family left for the Sunshine Coast last Wednesday, the boys missed them immensely. They knew my parents and sister would be coming back but Nathan was still sad in the morning and Caleb spent the whole day asking where each person was.

I can't imagine what it's going to be like when they actually leave for Toronto.
