Caleb Turns 3

In honour of Caleb's third birthday, here are three of my favourite sayings that have come straight from the lips of this newly-turned three-year-old boy.

When he sees that I'm upset: Mommy, come here. I will kiss you on the face and you will be happy. He kisses my face, then looks me straight in the eyes and asks: Are you happy?

At dim sum this morning, after we each got one dumpling: I want THREE dumplings. I'm not a baby. I'm not one, I'm three. I want THREE dumplings.

And whenever we try to help him do something: No, it's okay I can do it myself. I'm a big boy.
