Nathan's Soccer Tryouts

A couple weeks ago, I received an email inviting Nathan along to try out sessions to be considered for next year's development teams.

For Andrew and I, it doesn't matter whether he makes it onto the development team or not. We're just thrilled that he was chosen as one of the players who showed enough potential to be considered to tryout for the highest division next year.

We never imagined soccer to be his sport - he was so passive and always hung back near the net when he first started. But over the past 3 years, he's had two really fantastic coaches who have helped him learn the game and have challenged him to be a better player.

Nathan has come such a long way since he first started and we're so happy he's achieved this because soccer is something he chose for himself and he really enjoys it.
