Happy Mail and Caleb Climbing

I realize not all of you are as excited about my monthly packages as I am but I have to share!

When the phone/door buzzer rang today, I knew it could only mean one thing: the postman decided to actually try buzzing up to see if I was home instead of simply leaving the red slip in my mailbox. As soon as I hung up the phone, I grabbed Caleb from his high chair and raced downstairs to find the postman standing beside two huge mail sacks.

If I had my phone and Caleb wasn't so wriggly, I would have snapped a picture of the postman standing beside those sacks. He offered to help me bring the packages up, but I said I was fine. That was before I actually picked up the bags. I eventually made it upstairs and took the boxes out of the sacks.

My first woodgrain box!

After a quick peek inside, I finished feeding Caleb his lunch.

Then, we had a bit of fun before it was time to pick Nathan up from school. I took a quick look through some of the goodies and Caleb, well, let's just say Caleb's really into climbing right now.

He's just gotten the hang of pushing up with his legs and pulling himself up with his arms. He's fast and so strong.

No papers or babies were harmed during the making of this post.
