I'm still trying to figure out the best way to photograph my Project Life spreads but here's Week 4.
Here's a look at the left side of the spread for this week.
I used a photo as the title card again and I love how it makes the title so much more relevant to the week it represents.
And a look at the right side of the spread.
I tried out quite a few techniques this week and I'm really liking how it all turned out.
That Chinese cut out was part of a lai see that I was saving for this project. Caleb got a hold of it and mangled it, which is how I discovered that the characters were a separate piece glued on so I carefully took it apart and glued it on some lighter paper.
Journaling was incorporated in various ways: on washi tape, on vellum (love how I can subtly add text without completely blocking out the picture behind), patterned paper and a label.
I've been dying to try dividing a photo and I think this one of the boys at Ikea was perfect for the job.
My Tiny Attacher was finally put to good use as I stapled a few scraps of fabric from the sunburst pillow I made to a card.
I also included a couple emu feathers we picked up from Lone Pine when we visited on Australia Day. I saw some guy pick some up the last time we went and I immediately wanted some as well. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them, but this seems like the perfect spot.
And of course, I had to include Caleb's first trip to the ER. I have all the journaling on the back of that card.
ohhhhhh your project life is looking great!!! love it!!! and cute cute post about that jack in the box game!!! love it
