Project Life | Week 7

This was my birthday week so I wanted to include something a little special for that day.

I generally like to keep things pretty low-key for my birthday so I just added a few festive touches for this week's spread, like the bunting on the title card.

I wasn't feeling particularly wordy this week so there isn't a whole lot of journaling. I've added a couple words for a few of the pictures but the rest have been left alone.

Something new for this week was writing directly on the photo.

The pen stuck to the photo a little when I started but it was pretty smooth after.

Here's a closer look at my birthday insert.

It's just an Instagram of me on my birthday, the date and my age (yikes!) in a nice aqua Thicker, all on a clear overlay. Love the look of it. It's clean, simple and says everything.

I did have to do a little bit of rearranging in the previous week so that I'd have a nice background to see through to. This is the picture that's peeking through.

I think that birthday insert is going to be one of my favourites in this album!
