6 Shirt

I got up before the sun Saturday morning and realized that I had fallen asleep before I got the chance to make Nathan's birthday shirt.

So I snuck out of bed and quickly threw together a tie shirt.

Then, as I was finishing, I realized that I had made the exact same shirt for one of Nathan's friends who was coming to the party and it was entirely possible that he would be wearing that shirt. And we couldn't possibly have two people wearing the exact same handmade shirt to the party now, could we?

No way.

With time ticking away, I decided the only thing to do was make another shirt.

By then, Nathan had gotten up so I asked him to choose fabric and thread colours for me (the two things that take more time in my process than the actual sewing itself).

Luckily, he's a pretty quick decision-maker so I was back to sewing in no time.

And here's the shirt Nathan ended up wearing to his bowling party.

I think it'll make another appearance at his birthday party in Toronto!
